Introduction

Introduction

In this first session your hosts Dr Mia Hobbs and Dr Paula Redmond introduce themselves and outline the course.

They start by answering 3 questions about themselves, inviting you to consider these questions too:

  • What is your knitting origin story?

  • How does knitting fit into your life now?

  • What has knitting given you?

Paula and Mia then set out the structure of the course, discuss the accompanying resources and thoughts about pacing.

Finally, they invite you to consider your hopes and intentions for the course.

Patterns discussed (see workbook for pictures):

  • Stonecrop cardi

  • Amarelo cardigan

  • Elf slippers
